My name is Matshele Molaoli, a certified Nutritionist passionate about the powerful connection between the gut and mind. I love cooking and curating nourishing meals, and I’m dedicated to teaching others how balance and mindful eating can repair and restore wellbeing.
I am a Mother to 4 wonderful boys, and an Autism advocate. I have a wonderful son who is on the spectrum and to be honest SOMA exists because of him. After getting his diagnosis, I knew I had to understand how food can be used as medicine and how I could effectively apply critical pairing methods to ensure he is getting sufficient nutrition. So it was a no brainer that I'd pursue a Diploma in Nutrition to help not just him, but my entire family.
I firmy believe food and movement, when applied correctly, are medicine. For the longest of time, I struggled with chronic lower back pain, and rounded shoulders, this sparked a need to explore Pilates as a form of healing and restoration. I have not looked back eversince, it's almost like giving my body a second shot at life.
I am currently pursuing certification in Pilates, a practice I embrace as a mindful movement ritual. Through SOMA I curate sensory experiences that cultivate and harness healthy relationships with food and our SOMA.
I may have an obsession about the brain and nervous system, regulation and understanding the brain is what I do for fun,
I can't wait to create meaningful experiences with and for YOU!

My favourite Recipes
Recipe development and testing are honestly where I live. I love creating extraordinary recipes, which embrace nutrition. balance and diversity. Food is Art, it allows us to fully express ourselves and our creativity. There are no rules, just curiosity, intention and heart.
